Empire in Flames features a unique and innovative profession system comprised of "zero point" career professions, of which a character may only have one at a time, and traditional skill professions. The first skill box, novice, of any profession must be learned from a skill trainer. All other boxes can be learned from either a skill trainer for a fee or another player who knows said skills for free.
