Gaius Cavadus
Biography[edit | edit source]
Gaius Cavadus, a stalwart Storm Commando, was born and raised on the planet Sartinaynian, a world known for its rich military tradition. From a young age, Gaius was destined for a life of combat due to his father's prominent role as the commander of the planetary militia. His father, a respected figure on Sartinaynian, instilled in Gaius a strong sense of duty, honor, and loyalty to the Empire.
Growing up, Gaius experienced a unique upbringing. His father, aware of the galaxy's unrest, recognized the need to prepare his son for the challenges that lay ahead. Although it was an unconventional childhood, Gaius was raised with love and care, even amidst the training and discipline that shaped him into a skilled warrior. As a child, Gaius learned the importance of self-discipline, strategy, and the dedication necessary to protect the Empire.
As Gaius matured, his training intensified, and he quickly distinguished himself as an exceptional soldier after enlisting in the Imperial Army. Recognizing his potential, Gaius was selected to join the prestigious Stormtrooper Corps.
Gaius's first taste of combat came during the battle of Yavin IV, where he demonstrated his prowess on the front lines, fighting alongside his fellow Stormtroopers to quell the Rebellion's attempts to destroy the Death Star. Despite the ultimate loss suffered by the Empire, Gaius remained undeterred, his loyalty to the Imperial cause stronger than ever.
His resolve and combat skills led him to participate in numerous other pivotal battles, including the climactic Battle of Endor, where he earned his battlefield commission and a slot in the elite Storm Commandos. Despite the catastrophic consequences of that battle, Gaius remained convinced that the Empire was the rightful governing force in the galaxy, a beacon of order and stability amidst the chaos.
Beyond Endor, Gaius continued to fight tirelessly, defending the Empire's interests and pursuing those who threatened its existence. His unwavering dedication and battle-hardened experience made him a respected leader among the Storm Commandos. Gaius was admired by his comrades for his tactical acumen, unyielding determination, and unwavering loyalty to the ideals of the Empire.
As the galaxy transitioned, facing new challenges and shifting loyalties, Gaius stood firm in his conviction that the Empire still had a vital role to play. His commitment to preserving order and protecting Imperial values remained unshakable.

A Troop, 3rd Squadron, 47th Legion stationed in Draconis Falls, Kuat.
IRL[edit | edit source]
Cav spent seven years in the U.S. Army as a 19D Cavalry Scout and hit SWG at launch on the Chilastra server where joined up with Imperial Army. He played until the NGE where he permanently quit the game a few months later. Around this time he formed the 47th Legion with some friends in the Army. He helped develop the emulator for a short time in 2012 and currently works as an AWS devOps engineer. He's got a fiance, two cats, and loves to camp and Jeep in his free time. He's like rye whiskey, death metal, horror movies, shooting, lifting weights, and Texas.
