This is an empty datapad shell that can hold a datapad battery, datapad backlight, datapad connectors, and a broken datapad which can be restored if used properly. Fixing a broken datapad simply requires connecting all of the parts to the datapad housing.
The datapad housing is a loot kit which requires four pieces of loot to assemble:
This item is a loot kit which, when fully assembled, will create a Datapad (empty). If a Datadisk is inserted into the Datapad (empty) it will create a Data Storage Unit.
