Description
Boonta Eve is a seasonal event which commemorates the victories of the Hutts against the Parliament of Moralan and Xim the Despot at the Third Battle of Vontor. It was named after Boonta the Hutt. It consists of series of small quests based out of the Mos Espa cantina. In 2023 it will run from December 7th, 2023, to January 15th, 2024.
Mayor Mok Shaiz
Upon arriving at the Mos Espa cantina, you can speak with Mok Shaiz to get a run down of what Boonta Eve is all about, and where you can find some work to help with the celebrations.
In exchange for doing the various jobs, you will be rewarded with a Boonta Coin, of which you can only earn 1 coin per character, per day.
You can visit EV-9D9 in the rear alcove of the cantina to exchange your Boonta coins for prizes.
Ortugg
Rewards: 1 Boonta Coin
Ortugg, the Gamorrean, is in charge of security for the event. He is having a little trouble with some of Lady Valarians raiders. He will send you out to the location of their camp to blow it up. The enemies in this missions are very strong, but have a high rate of dropping good attachments.
When you get to the camp, you need to eliminate the three Valarian Thugs that are there (try to take them out one at a time), then place a detonation charge in one of the spots around the camp, the moment you do place a charge, more Thugs spawn instantly. There are three demolition charges to set - One by the swoops, one inside a tent, and one next to the large container.
Garsa Fwip
Rewards: 1 Boonta Coin
Notes: Prior to 2023, this role was done by Ephant Mon
Garsa Fwip's job at the event is to help slaves swear fealty to their masters, however a few slaves haven't shown up like they were supposed to. She needs you to go to a location that he will provide, and bring them back to Mayor Mok Shaiz.
Hera Syndula
Rewards: 1 Boonta Coin
Alternatively to taking the slave to Mok Shaiz, you can bring the slave to Hera Syndulla located in the hotel next to the cantina.
Sky Hopper Race
Rewards: 1 Boonta Coin
Start Location: -2953, 2524
There is also an Airspeeder race you can partake in (if you do not have an airspeeder already, the droid can give you one).
If you can complete the race in under 3 1/2 minutes, you will receive a coin.
